How to talk about annoying habits with Friends?

Aristotle, Benjamin Franklin, Stephen Covey, and Charles Duhigg wrote about the necessity of self-improvement and the importance of habits as a significant component of human behavior. In their works, they emphasized the importance of personal growth and the regular development of one’s character. They also discussed the significance of habits as a key component in shaping character and achieving success. In their writings, they offered methods and strategies to help individuals consciously develop beneficial habits and strive towards becoming a better version of themselves.

Read the text and fill in the words we have just learnt

The Knuckle-Cracking Contest

Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived three friends: Tom, Sarah, and Jack. One sunny afternoon, they decided to have a knackle-cracking contest. They gathered under a big tree and began cracking ____________ to see who could do it the loudest.

As they were enjoying their contest, Jack couldn’t help but notice Tom’s strange habit of __________ whenever he got nervous. He found it quite amusing, but he didn’t say anything because he didn’t want to distract Tom.

Meanwhile, Sarah, who always had a tendency to over-pronounce words, was cheering them on enthusiastically. “Come on, guys! You can do it! _______ those knuckles!” she exclaimed.

Suddenly, their fun was interrupted by a loud voice. It was Old Man Jenkins from the neighboring farm. “Hey, kids! Cut it ______ with the knackle-________ ! You’re disturbing my chickens!” he shouted.

Feeling a bit embarrassed, they quickly apologized and decided to _______ out the ________-cracking contest for the day.

As they walked back home, they couldn’t help but laugh about their silly competition. Jack couldn’t contain his amusement and let out a loud ______ when he laughed, which made Sarah and Tom laugh even harder.

Despite their quirks, they found each other’s habits _______. They realized that it’s okay to have unique traits as long as they don’t harm others or disturb the peace.

The moral of the story is that it’s important to enjoy life and have fun, but always be mindful of how your actions affect others. Sometimes, it’s best to cut it out and put out the noise to maintain harmony in the community.
