From time to time, students get bored during lessons. To prevent this, it’s sometimes necessary to change the topic to something more engaging that grabs their attention.

 

Loot at the picture and say who can you see in it and why is the superhero there?

 

Do you remember your weekend? What did you do?

The superheroes spent their weekend saving the world. What exactly did they do? Let’s find out

 

Exercise 1: Superheroes Save the Day!

Complete the sentences with the correct form of the verb in brackets.

Rename each superhero in a fun and creative way. The funnier, the better! Then, explain their new superpower and how they use it in an everyday situation.

  • Example:
    • BatmanBedman: His superpower is the ability to lie in bed all day and still save the world! He never leaves his blanket fortress but can control everything from his room.
    • SpidermanInsiderman: He can sneak into any place without being noticed, whether it’s a superhero meeting or a movie theater for free popcorn!
    • Iron ManiPhone Man: He controls everything with his phone, from opening his car door to stopping bad guys with a single app.
